The Compass Inn serves proper pub food and is renowed for its large plated meals. With no deals, there is just good, home-cooked food here.
Late night snacks are available from 9pm until closing. Chilli or curry is just £5 a bowl, to eat in or take away. Mops cream teas served from 3pm to 6pm. Home made scones with clotted cream and jam are also available. In addition, New Choc scones are served with chocolate, clotted cream and hazelnut Nutella.
There is also an award-winning garden with glorious flowers and garden seating. Ideal stop off for a drink or a meal after a day out in the New Forest.
Opening details: all day, every day. Lunch served between 12pm to 2pm. Dinner served between 6.30pm to 9pm. Sunday roasts cooked from 12pm to 8pm.
